Free Warm-Up Group Information

We’re bringing you a brand-new FREE keep-fit circuit training class, to help you build your core strength and improve your coordination – Warm Up!

Taking place every Tuesday from 10 am at Birchwood Leisure Centre, this new class is funded by WelHat Sports, as part of the community-led Warm Space scheme. Designed to provide people with a warm and welcoming space to go during the winter months, this group aims to help people to build connections during the current cost of living crisis.

Suitable for all ages and abilities, this hour-long morning class features routines and exercises to help you improve your core muscles and blow off some steam, while also giving you a chance to meet new people and make new connections – there’s even half an hour set aside after the class to grab a FREE cuppa and have a chat!

Box More Stress Less Group Information

Have you heard about our new core strength and agility class, designed especially for men, Box More Stress Less?

Taking place on Tuesdays at 6pm, this 50-minute class, co-funded by Hertfordshire County Council, provides attendees with an accessible and uplifting session that will aid to improve mental health and well-being and physical strength. This special circuit training class will bring like-minded people together to improve core strength, build confidence, and boost self-esteem by featuring a range of punching and kicking exercises.

  • Strength & Stability Circuit: Wednesday 9:45am-10:45am
  • Falls Management Programme (incl. 30min social): Thursdays 12:45pm-2:15pm

  • Cancer Rehabilitation Programme (incl. 30min social): Friday 11:30am-1pm
