Hatfield Rail Crash Memorial

The 20th Anniversary Memorial Service was held at St Etheldreda’s Church.  Due to social distancing guidelines, this was limited to 30 people and individuals laid flowers in the Memorial Gardens before and after the Service.

HTC Remembrance Sunday Hatfield

Remembrance Sunday

There will be no service in the Memorial Garden on 8th November.  Residents are requested to remain at home and observe the 2 minutes’ silence there.  Please do paint a poppy on a stone and leave it in the Garden before or after 11am, lay a wreath or poppy, put a picture of a Poppy in your window (see Royal British Legion website for details) or attend the Garden on 7th November or 8th November in the afternoon when the gates will be unlocked and you can view the names of the fallen and pay your respects in a socially distanced way.

We will carry out our usual Armistice Day Service at the War Graves, Great North Road at 11am on 11th November.
