Hatfield Town Council is delighted to announce that applications are now open for the brand-new Hatfield Town Mayor’s Community Grant Scheme.
Launched for the 2026/27 Municipal Year, the scheme has been set up to give a helping hand to individuals and groups whose work makes a positive difference across the parish of Hatfield, including the town itself, Lemsford, and Newgate Street Village. Small grants of between £50 and £500 are available to support the brilliant work being done right across our community.
Whether you’re an individual with a great idea, a local organisation looking to grow, or a community or voluntary group providing activities for residents, we’d love to hear from you. The criteria have been kept deliberately open to make sure new and innovative ideas aren’t excluded. In short: as long as your project benefits the town and its residents, we want to hear about it.
There will be three opportunities to apply over the year, with the first deadline on Monday 21 September 2026.
Full details, including the application form, terms and conditions, and all three submission deadlines, can be found on the dedicated grant scheme page.
We’re looking forward to seing the ideas that come forward!
