Charity Virtual Duck Race: The Winner Is…

Mar 20, 2024 | Recent News | 0 comments

Congratulations to Rebecca, the winner of our charity Virtual Duck Race! Rebecca’s duck, Sir Quackleton, embarked on an incredible journey, spanning a massive 21949 virtual kilometres over nine days and took home the gold in this fun-filled fundraiser for One YMCA.

But let’s not forget, this victory isn’t just about the winner — it’s about the collective effort of all 36 racers who paddled their way to success, raising nearly £100 for a worthy charity that works to provide help to people in our community. Each duck’s contribution has been added to the overall charity pot and will go towards making a positive impact on the lives of many in the town.

Thank you to all of our participants for your enthusiasm and generosity in our fundraising efforts this past year. Your involvement in this event showcases the power of community coming together for a good cause. Here’s to the spirit of friendly competition and the joy of giving back!
