Hatfield Town Council is saddened to hear of the death of Conservative town councillor James Bond, who passed away in hospital on Saturday 26 October, at the age of 83.
As well as serving as a Hatfield Town Councillor for the Central and Newgate Street Village Wards, James was also a Hertfordshire County Councillor for three years, serving as a member of the Environment Cabinet Panel and representing the residents of the Hatfield north division. He also served as a councillor at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council up until last year.
James was proud to have been Hatfield Town Mayor between 2022 and 2023.
