Mayor of Hatfield Selects his Charity

Jun 26, 2023 | Recent News | 0 comments

The Mayor of Hatfield, Councillor Gareth Aicken, has selected One YMCA as his chosen charity for the year ahead. During the next twelve months, we will be organising events and making collections to present to the organisation this time next year.

Traditions

Following nominations in previous years, which have included local charities such as the Jamie McVeigh Foundation and Herts Young Homeless, the Mayor’s chosen charity is a brilliant chance to showcase, promote and boost awareness and much-needed funds to charities close to home that really deserve it.

One YMCA

Offering a wide range of services and programmes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, One YMCA work hard to support our local communities by providing support and advice to youths and young families, operating a number of hostels, and working with gyms and community hubs to improve health and wellbeing. Their work ensure that people in need of support can get a sense that they can belong, contribute and thrive in our community.
