Thank you for showing an interest in volunteering with Hatfield Town Council. Allow us to explain more:

By registering as a volunteer, you could offered opportunities to help out with anything from scheduled litter picks, tree planting, and even helping at some of our events.

As a valued member of our volunteering team, we will: 

• Provide the correct tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job
• Provide appropriate information, guidance and support
• Always consider the health, safety and wellbeing of our volunteers

In return, as a member of our team, we simply expect you to be good ambassadors for Hatfield Town Council. We’ll never ask you to undertake a task you are uncomfortable doing, are not trained to do or capable of doing.

If you’re volunteering to help at an event, you may be asked to attend pre-arranged meetings, should they be needed.

Volunteers will be asked to supply any relevant personal information such any medical conditions which may impact upon the type of role offered.

Hatfield Town Council will take all reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of all our volunteers. We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
