MAJOR OBJECTION

Councillors support Cllr Thorpe in his comments on this application.  They wish to see this property restored to a family house.

There is no parking provision.

There is no outdoor amenity space for the first floor flat.

69.            UPDATE ON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

Cllr Brennan presented an outline of a report plan that she has written as a starting point for discussion. Members considered the section headings. In particular, the extent of the neighbourhood for the plan was considered. It was agreed that this is a good starting point for a project which could take several years to complete.  It was emphasised that it is a community plan and so for every stage members of the community must be involved.  A seminar has been arranged to be given by Cllr Alan Atkinson from Bridge Parish Council who has taken part in writing a neighbourhood plan for a community in Kent."

Members noted that the assistance of the Local Planning Authority was needed and Cllr Brennan would be contacting them.  It was also noted that would be giving a presentation to Members on his Council’s experiences of producing a Neighbourhood Plan on 17th March.

70.            LICENSING APPLICATION – 90 TOWN CENTRE

Members confirmed that they raised no objection to the application

71.            LETTER FROM RESIDENT OF ELM DRIVE
