MAJOR OBJECTION

The Council supports Cllr Thorpeís comments.

We support using the top of the flats which are now built and less than 100m away from the proposed site.Mast sharing should be considered.The increase in mast height is not acceptable in the proposed location.Members are concerned at the visual obstruction caused to vehicles at the junction.The plans show a hedge which does not currently exist.There needs to be consultation with St Johnís Church, St Johnís Youth Club and Wraffton House Surgery.There may be land ownership conflict with St Johnís Church.

There isa need to reduce the impact on the street scene and the disruption for the residents of the existing dwellings.

Members requested that an extension of time to be respond be given.

Members deferred commenting on this until public consultation commenced.
